1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using TokenTap5e (the "Service"), operated by Reforged & Refined LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Service

TokenTap5e is a companion application for tabletop Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition campaigns. The Service allows Dungeon Masters ("DMs") to manage tokens, NPCs, enemies, locations, and campaign records, and allows Players to interact with campaign content, track character information, and participate in sessions.

TokenTap5e is designed to complement, not replace, physical rulebooks, official D&D content, or other third-party tools. We are not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or the official Dungeons & Dragons brand.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

TokenTap5e offers free and paid subscription tiers (including but not limited to "DM Pro," "Player Pro," and "Party Plan"). Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload, including character data, journal entries, campaign notes, and images ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service, for example displaying your Campaign Chronicle to your party.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must have the right to share it.

Campaign Chronicle pages are visible to anyone who has the link, regardless of subscription status. Chronicle links are not published or listed by us, but anyone you share a link with can pass it on. Treat anything in a Chronicle as public.

6. Content Standards

Tabletop campaigns deal in villains, violence, and dark themes, and that is welcome here as part of the story. What is not welcome, anywhere on the Service and especially on public Chronicle pages, is User Content that:

• Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against real people or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar characteristics
• Harasses, threatens, or bullies a real person
• Is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way
• Depicts real-world graphic violence, self-harm, or gore intended to shock
• Shares another person's private information without their consent
• Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Is illegal, or is spam, advertising, or malware

7. Reporting and Content Removal

Every Campaign Chronicle page includes a "Report this chronicle" link. You can also report any content to support@tokentap5e.com.

We may review, hide, or remove any User Content or Chronicle, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or puts users, the Service, or others at risk. Hiding a Chronicle removes it from public view without deleting the campaign behind it. We are not obligated to monitor User Content, and we are not responsible for User Content posted by others.

8. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent (contact details below), by email with the subject line "DMCA Notice," including:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
• The location of the infringing material on the Service, such as the Chronicle link
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. This designation is also on file with the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory.

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Post User Content that breaks the Content Standards in Section 6
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service beyond normal use
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise other users' data

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), Resend (account email), Cloudflare (network services), and, where applicable, Google AdSense and AdMob (advertising). Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of those providers.

11. Physical Products

Reforged & Refined LLC may separately offer physical products (such as NFC-embedded tokens, miniature coins, or Campaign Crests) for purchase through channels outside this Service. Purchases of physical products are governed by the terms of sale presented at the point of purchase, which may differ from these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. Physical NFC tags and hardware are not covered under these Terms and may be subject to separate product warranties.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reforged & Refined LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, campaign content, or revenue.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
