1. Introduction

Reforged & Refined LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates TokenTap5e (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (used for authentication and account communication)
• Password (stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider, Supabase, and we never see or store plaintext passwords)

Campaign and Character Data

• Character names, race, class, level, background text, and related game data
• Campaign names, NPCs, enemies, locations, factions, and journal entries you create
• Images you upload, such as character portraits, NPC portraits, and journal images
• Session history and in-app activity (such as votes cast in end-of-session polls)

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Stripe may collect billing name, email, and payment method information directly, subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Automatically Collected Information

• Basic usage data (such as which features are used) for the purpose of improving the Service
• Device and browser information as typically collected by web servers

Advertising Data

If you use the free tier of the Service, we may display advertisements through Google AdSense and/or Google AdMob. These services may collect information via cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads. See Section 6 for more detail.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To authenticate your account and manage subscriptions
• To display campaign content to you and, where applicable, to your party members or the public (e.g., a Campaign Chronicle page)
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service
• To improve and develop new features
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Stripe	Payment processing and subscription billing
Google AdSense / AdMob	Displaying advertisements on free-tier accounts
Other party members	Campaign data you choose to share within a party (e.g., DM notes marked visible, Party tab roster info)
The public	Content you explicitly make public, such as a Campaign Chronicle link

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

5. Data Visible to Other Users

TokenTap5e is a collaborative tool. Depending on how you use it:

• DMs can see character data, journal entries, and activity of players in their campaign
• Players can see other party members' character names, classes, and (if enabled) shared inventory
• Campaign Chronicle pages are public by design and require no login to view

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in character names, journal entries, or campaign notes, as this content may be visible to your party or, for chronicle pages, the public.

6. Advertising and Cookies

Free-tier use of the Service may include advertisements served by Google AdSense (web) and Google AdMob (mobile app, if applicable). These services may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your activity. You can learn more and manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

Paid subscription tiers (DM Pro, Player Pro, Party Plan) do not display advertisements.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Users under 18 should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

Deleting your account removes the campaigns you own, including their Campaign Chronicle pages, which become unavailable at that point. Chronicle pages remain public and viewable by anyone with the link for as long as the account that created them exists.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• You may access, update, or delete your account at any time through account settings
• You may delete individual characters, campaigns, journal entries, or images you have created
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the right to request a copy of your data or object to certain processing)

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
